The Meet Up that Started it ALL!

We don’t go as much as I would like, but every other week a group of gamers get together at the Gamer’s Geekery Tavern. They play games open to close! I found the group online through Who’s Turn is it Anyways. Then we were invited by one of the gamers to go to our first convention in January 2025! This week I learned the new game Brink. When we first started learning the game, I was like there is no way that someone could get such a high score. I was shocked when the winner was close to the end of track. This is a worker placement, territory and negotiation game. In this game you have 3 different sized ships that you get to place on hexagon to gain control to get points in the rounds. The negotiation part is different than most because you either trade certain resources or you loss them. If you like more complex games, it is worth a play.
